Looking for something different to do this Halloween?

Okay, it's technically not in Dublin, but only a stone's throw away in Ashbourne, Co. Meath - Tayto Park has a brand new, spine-tingling event for the horrifying holiday!

Tayto Park After Dark will run from October 27th - October 30th from 6pm-9pm.

Priced at just €18 per person, entry includes;

  • Night rides on both the Cú Chulainn Coaster (Europe's largest inverted, wooden rollercoaster) and the Air Race
  • A 5D Halloween film
  • Entry into The House of Horrors

The House of Horrors takes place in The Lodge at Tayto Park, which is transformed into "a terrifying and spine-chilling experience guaranteed to be the craziest and scariest sights around this Halloween" and "promises to be bigger, better, gorier and bloodier than ever before!"

See video below:

The House of Horrors and other Halloween activities will also be opened at the Park during the day (11am-4pm), from this Saturday October 24th until Sunday November 1st (for those not brave enough to venture in the dark).

Day-time entry into The House of Horrors is an additional €6 to your overall cost of entry, and it is recommended for children 8 years and over.

The Tayto Park After Dark event, however, is recommended for those aged 14 years and over, with under 18s needing to be accompanied by a paying adult.

Last admission is 7.30pm, no pre-booking necessary.  For more information, see here.

Tayto Park is such a fun day out for everyone, regardless of any extra events, so I imagine this will make it even better!

**Please note**: it is not yet known if public transport will be available for the After Dark event so bear this in mind when making travel arrangements to and from the Park.

*Also note**: Strictly no alcohol is permitted on site, and anyone suspected to be under the influence of alcohol will be refused entry.  But let's be honest, drunken antics and then going on a roller coaster and other such rides? Not a great mix! Wait until after you've been spun around in the dark and scared s***less as your treat for surviving ;)
