Culinary Goddess Tip #3

If you're making soup and either find yourself without potatoes, or if you just want a potato substitute - add a handful of brown/wholegrain rice or a handful of red lentils to your ingredients when cooking.

When your soup mix is blended, the rice/lentils will help to thicken the soup just as well as potatoes!

Add more or less depending on your own thickening taste.
